Description
A fantastic Victorian blue Satin cased glass vase. The vase has a frilled top and an air trap design. This vase is a wonderful colour, the blue is amazing.
First produced in the 1880's Satin Glass was very popular during the Victorian era. The glass was dipped in acid to give a dull, silky, matt finish. This was then either left blank, or decorated with enamelled designs, or coupled with an Air Trap design, such as diamond quilting or herringbone.
Condition
The vase is in very good vintage condition. This is a wonderful piece of Victorian glass.
