Description

An impressive large glass comport from the 1980's, designed by Ulrica Hydman-Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden. In a tortoise shell pattern this decorative comport is a beautiful example of Swedish art glass design. The bowl base is signed Kosta Boda, Artist Coll, Ulrica HV, 58864 . The original label is still attached.

Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938-2018) was a Swedish artist who specialized in stained glass and decorative painting.

Condition

The comport is in very good vintage condition.
