Carlton Ware "Rabbits at Dusk" Conical Vase, Orange Lustre, 1930's

Description

A charming Carlton Ware "Rabbits at Dusk" hand painted conical vase. This stunning orange lustre vase is superbly hand painted and gilded. The intricate design of rabbits nestled in a woodland scene against a dusky sky is enchanting.

This quaint pattern (4247) was designed by Rene Pemberton and introduced around 1939. 

This is a lovely vase, I found this vase particularly difficult to photograph.

Condition

The vase is in very good condition. There is a tiny white mark on the front, this is under the glaze. 

Any white marks are light on the shiny vase.
