An impressive white on solid blue Wedgwood Jasperware Hina Matsuri wall plaque. The dolls represent the Emperor and Empress and are seated on platforms. The plaque is marked ND Wedgwood, PW Z Made in England R 12.
Hinamatsuri also called Doll's Day or Girls' Day, is a religious holiday in Japan. The festival officially commenced in 1687.
