"Rabbits at Dusk" Carlton Ware Oval Vase, Orange Lustre, 1930's

Description

This is a delightful, very shiny Carlton Ware "Rabbits at Dusk" hand painted oval vase. The orange lustre is bright, the intricate design of rabbits nestled in a woodland scene against a dusky sky is enchanting.

This quaint pattern (4247) was designed by Rene Pemberton and introduced around 1939. 

Condition

The vase is in very good condition, there is some crazing.

The photograph of the back shows a light area in the trees, this area is really quite dark.

Any white marks are light on the shiny vase.
